Whether you are looking to raise awareness of your brand and get your potential clients to notice you or you want to get more traffic to your website, Facebook Ads are extremely cost effective and efficient way to promote your business (I am not affiliated with Facebook).
I’ve been using Facebook Ads for 2 years now and here are my 5 Steps on How To Get Started with Facebook Ads:
1. Create your Business Facebook Page
I highly reccommend that you create a Facebook page for your business and add as much information as possible. Make sure your profile photo and cover illustrates your business, write an About description, your working hours, website link and create 10 to 20 posts everyday. You can post many a day and get them all out for 2 days.
The reason I recommend this is to allow facebook to match your Facebook page with your website and recognise your Brand Identity. This is vital so you don’t get your account restricted. After you Create your Facebook Page and add all of the details to make it represent your business, you will then head over to the next step:
2. Create a Facebook Ads Manager Account
Facebook Ads is a powerful tool that can help businesses reach a wider audience. To create an account, simply go to Facebook and click on the “Ads Manager” link on the left hand side. From there, you will be prompted to create a business account. This will give you more flexibility in terms of managing multiple pages and ads. Once you have created your account, you will be able to create and customize your ads. You can target specific demographics, interests, and even locations. Facebook Ads is an effective way to reach potential customers and promote your business.
3. Promote your Page
Facebook Ads are a great way to promote your page and get engagement on a post. However, it’s important to wait a couple of weeks before releasing ads for sending traffic to your website. This will help Facebook warm up to your business and see that you’re legitimate. In the meantime, prepare a budget of around $200 for two ads. The first should be used to promote your page, while the second should be used to get engagement on a post. Doing this will assure Facebook that you’re a legit business and help you get the most out of your Facebook Ads campaigns.
4. Create your First Engagement Campaign
Facebook Ads is a great way to get started with engagement campaigns. By promoting your page for 5 days, you ensure that Facebook will know you are trying to promote your page and legitimize you as an advertiser. This will also help to bring value to your followers. Additionally, by starting with an engagement campaign, you can begin to build relationships with potential customers and followers who can eventually become paying customers. Therefore, Facebook Ads is a great place to start when it comes to promoting your business.
5. Now you are ready to launch your Facebook Ad to send Traffic
After a few weeks of running your website, it’s time to create your first traffic campaign. This will help you enjoy new visitors to your website, and if you tie this in with a pop-up window on your website for people to sign up to your mailing list – then you’ll get two big benefits: raising awareness of your business and capturing your potential clients’ email addresses to build your mailing list. Traffic campaigns can be run through a number of different channels, such as online advertising, social media, or even PR initiatives. The important thing is to choose the right channel for your audience and then create compelling content that will drive them to your website. With a little bit of effort, you can soon enjoy a healthy flow of new visitors to your site.
